A LocalBiz affiliate is a representative of the LocalBiz business directory in their local area. Affiliates sign up businesses for LocalBiz Premium listings, and receive a percentage of the revenue from the listing. The best part of all is that as an affiliate you will earn recurring, passive income.

How much money can I earn as an affiliate ?  [top]
The sky is the limit. How much you earn is entirely up to you and the effort that you put in to selling LocalBiz listings. Sign up as an affiliate and we will send you an information pack.

What do you mean by Passive income ?  [top]
Passive income is income that you don't have to work for. As a LocalBiz affiliate, you earn a percentage of the revenue received from a Premium listing. Yes, this part involves you doing some work, to sign up the listing in the first place. The passive part comes in when the business renews its listing. For as long as the business continues to renew their subscription, as long as you continue to be an active affiliate, you will continue to receive a percentage of the revenue from that listing - with no work required on your part.

Is this MLM (Multi Level Marketing) ?  [top]
No, it is simply commission-based selling. You earn a percentage of the revenue for any Premium listings that you sell. You can tell other people about being a LocalBiz affiliate and get them to apply, but you will not receive any commission on any sales they make.

What marketing material do you provide to affiliates ?  [top]
If you are accepted as a LocalBiz affiliate, you will have password-protected access to the Affiliate Control Panel, where you can download printable versions of the following resources :

It is a straightforward process, which you can start now using our Signup Request form.

Are affiliates employees of LocalBiz ?  [top]
No. As a representative of LocalBiz, you may sell listings on our behalf, for which you will be paid a percentage of the revenue. All money paid to you as a LocalBiz affiliate is paid as a commission. You are responsible for paying any tax owed on your income.

Do affiliates collect money ?  [top]
No. Listers are invoiced by us for their Premium listings after the listing has been created.
